We launched the first call for the current funding Mechanism through the EEA and Norway Grants in the fall of 2017. Now, 6 years later, we reflect on the over 200 projects involving hundreds of beneficiaries from all geographical areas of the country, made possible precisely through this funding. The shared mission of building a greener, more democratic, and inclusive Europe has become a more vibrant part of our immediate reality, thanks to all these transformative initiatives addressing individuals and communities.

We know that behind every recent success or one that has already become history, there is a story waiting to be told, an experience waiting to be shared. For this purpose, the #OurStories Campaign was designed, addressing all actors who have created change together, through the EEA and Norway Grants.

Your story, inspired by the actions of teachers as change agents in education or by Roma and non-Roma children who have discovered common universes alongside their parents and teachers, can motivate countless others to join our mission.

Perhaps you are a student who has had WOW moments in a mobility program at a Norwegian university. Maybe you are part of a community where tangible changes have occurred due to the collective efforts of the EEA-project team. Perhaps you are a teacher who has realized that s/he was an important part of a student’s journey to knowledge.

Each story adds a shade to the broader European picture! #OurStories are waiting to be told and to bring to the attention of the wider public the essence of the EEA and Norway Grants.

The objective of the #OurStories campaign, led by the EEA and Norway Grants, is to present and celebrate the significant results of the funded projects. Through captivating stories and success narratives, the campaign aims to inspire, inform, and engage a diverse audience in the Beneficiary and Donor States and across Europe, highlighting the positive changes and transformative effects of their initiatives.
