  1. The Romanian scientific community is characterized by the sense of isolation in terms of biomedical research which is reflecting on the capacity to attract research funding and establish international collaborations. The PhD program is meant to train the students in the formation of a research career and to establish the next generation of Romanian scientists and clinician scientist, which, if not trained at international standards, will ultimately perpetuate the scientific isolation and incapacity to disseminate research findings to the internationally recognized environments. Therefore, the present project is a small size cooperation project meant to establish a long term collaboration for good practices exchange between Iuliu Hatieganu University of Medicine and Pharmacy, University of Iceland and University of Oslo within the medical research education sector at the 3rd level of study with direct impact upon the PhD curricula innovation, level of knowledge among PhD students and integration on the international workforce for all three partners.
    As so, the following specific objectives were assumed through the application:

    2. Modernization and digitalization of the educational offer through establishment of a research e-platform containing the updated curricula developed within O1;
    3. Consolidation of the international cooperation between partners through joint scientific articles published in international journals.
