The mobility project carried out by the University of Craiova (UCv) with financial support offered through EEA Grants responds to the strategic internationalisation policy of our institution. The main academic activities carried out within the project, namely study and placement mobility for students and training and teaching mobility for teachers and administrative staff, contribute to increasing the number of mobilities at the institutional level, but also increase the number and intensity the international activities.
The mobility project coordinated by the University of Craiova involves five partner universities from donor states: Bifrost University and the University of Iceland in Iceland and the University College of South-Eastern Norway, Nord University and Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences in Norway. The bilateral cooperation agreements that our university has with the partner universities cover the fields of study Business Administration and Information and Communication Technology, but also general fields of professional training and serve three faculties from our institution, namely the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, Faculty of Automation, Computers and Electronics and the Faculty of Letters.
Along with internationalisation, the modernization of the educational process is a priority objective for UCv, and international mobility will contribute to its achievement. The new mobility opportunities offered to the academic community through the EEA Grants Mobility project allow the exchange of experience and good practices and contribute to the improvement of curricula and encourage the diversification of educational activities, also leading to the maintenance and development of stable and viable academic partnerships.
