Objectives:

• Support students reach better learning outcomes (knowledge, skills and competences) with a view to improving their personal development and their employability in the European labour market;
• Promote non-formal and informal learning mobility and active participation among students, as well as cooperation, quality, inclusion, creativity and innovation at the level of our universities.
• Support the professional development of academics and staff, with a view to innovating and improving the quality of teaching and training;
• Integrate and apply similar education systems and knowledge throughout the world across the borders, improving the quality and deployment of education worldwide.
• Raise participants’ awareness and understanding of new cultural experiences offering them the opportunity to build networks of international contacts and to actively participate in society;
• Enhance the participants’ foreign languages competence and improve their communication and inter-cultural skills.
• Combine their period spent in these types of international mobility with a traineeship to gain work experience.
• Have continuing opportunities to acquire additional knowledge and skills needed to teach challenging subject matter and to use emerging new methods, forms of assessment, and technologies.
• Ensure a better recognition of competences and skills gained through the learning, teaching or training periods abroad;
• Strengthen the institutional cooperation in higher education between Romania, Norway and Iceland thus establishing structured, intensive and long-term cooperation;
• Increase the capacities, attractiveness and international dimension of all three universities so that they are able to offer programmes that better respond to the needs of individuals, within and outside Europe;
• Increase the number of students, academics and staff mobilities between Romania, Norway and Iceland.
