Elias\u201d Technology Secondary School<\/a><\/strong><br \/><strong>Project partner: Economic operator <a href=\"www.grup-serban.ro\">Interagroaliment SRL<\/a><\/strong><br \/><strong>The hosting organisation in Norway:<\/strong> <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/gand.vgs.no\/\">Gand Videreg\u00e5ende Skole<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Project Code: 2018-EY-PCV1-0007<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>General objective of the project:<\/strong> Quality traineeships to help students achieve suitable accommodation on the labour market<\/p>\n<p><strong>Specific objectives:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Improve the quality of teaching and practical on-the-job training for the work field (learning at work) by the professional development of teachers, exchange of good practices at managerial level and the internationalisation of the institution.<\/li>\n<li>The practical approach to learning and matching skills acquired with labour market requirements, i.e. the economic operator, in order to increase employability of graduates in the field of mechanics.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Results:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>7 teachers and 2 participants from the economic operator participating in the study visit in Norway;<\/li>\n<li>9 teachers + entrants to the economic arm with developed skills in organising traineeships;<\/li>\n<li>9 participants in the study visit with communication skills in English improved;<\/li>\n<li>4 local curricula for the project;<\/li>\n<li>1 best practice manual (guide to the tutors)<\/li>\n<li>5 practice portfolios;<\/li>\n<li>5 notebooks to be applied in electronic format;<\/li>\n<li>5 learning agreements;<\/li>\n<li>1 digital educational platform for the driver qualification;<\/li>\n<li>1 comparative driver schooling guide;<\/li>\n<li>1 project website.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Impact:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The impact on the institution, due to the expected results, and the long-term benefits, consists of:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Raising the prestige of the institution in the community;<\/li>\n<li>Increasing the quality of work-based learning, as measured by the insertion of direct beneficiaries into the labour market;<\/li>\n<li>A better match among\u00a0 the theoretical content with the practical part and the requirements of the labour market;<\/li>\n<li>The internationalisation of the educational institution;<\/li>\n<li>Improving the collaboration between the school and the economic operator.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For the pupils the impact consists of:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Improved\u00a0 skills and practical abilities in the field of mechanics;<\/li>\n<li>Increased socio-employment rate of graduates qualified as mechanic operators.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/sites.google.com\/view\/proiectsee\/\"><strong>Website<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_gallery gallery_ids=&#8221;7997,8001&#8243; show_title_and_caption=&#8221;off&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.0.6&#8243;][\/et_pb_gallery][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][\/et_pb_section]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Project promoter: \u201cJacques M.
