The project assures the opportunities for performing mobility for students and teaching staff within the partnerships between “Gheorghe Asachi” Technical University of Iasi, Romania (TUIASI) and 2 universities from Norway, Norwegian University of Life Sciences and Norwegian University of Science and Technology and 1 university from Island – University of Reykjavik. Since this is the first project for TUIASI, the main objective is to promote this type of mobility and increase the number of the incoming and outgoing mobility for both students and staff, which lead to the development of collaboration between the partner’s institutions.

The main beneficiaries of this project will be the students. Student mobility will be related mainly to undergraduate and master students, as study and placement stages, in order to make experiments for their final thesis, by use of equipment not available in host institution. Also, the academic staff will benefit from this project due to the development of new pedagogical materials, organization of training events, aimed at creating the conditions for the implementation of the pedagogic methods. So far, 2 academic staff have been performing mobility with the project.

Regarding the cooperation with norwegian universities, Norwegian University of Science and Technology and the Norwegian University of Life Sciences will bring to the project their resources, the students and academic staff from TUIASI will benefit from their experience and gain access to knowledge, people and enhance their professional skills.

With the University of Iceland in Reykjavik the collaboration will not function under this project due to the fact that the coordinator professor of the project from Reykjavik withdrawn from the project and the university did not agree to continue the collaboration with TUIASI.
